CO₂ Value Europe
A new European association dedicated to CO₂ utilisation
On 30 November, 60 leading industrial and research organisations launched CO₂ Value Europe, a new European association dedicated to CO₂ utilisation. The mission of the association is to contribute to the reduction of global CO₂ emissions by promoting the development and market deployment of sustainable industrial solutions that convert CO₂ into valuable products.
CO₂ Value Europe gathers stakeholders from all relevant sectors of the CO₂ value chain: CO₂ emitters from the main process industries, providers of decarbonated energy, industrial gas experts, transformation technology providers, users of CO₂-based products and research organisations. HeidelbergCement is one of the founding members and, with Manuela Ojan, represented in the Managing Board.
