In 2020, the average attendance rate at the eight plenary sessions of the Supervisory Board was 99%.
The participation rate at the committees’ meetings held in 2020 was 100%.
Auditors
On 4 June 2020, the Annual General Meeting appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, as the auditors of the annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements for the 2020 financial year. PricewaterhouseCoopers acted for the first time as auditors of the annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements of HeidelbergCement AG.
The auditors responsible for the consolidated financial statements are Dr. Ulrich Störk and Mr Thomas Tilgner.

The HeidelbergCement Capital Markets Day 2020 took place on 16. September 2020 in a pure virtual format, with a mix of live and pre-recorded content and a live Q&A-session at the end. The event was hosted by our CEO, Dr Dominik von Achten, our CFO, Dr Lorenz Näger, and Jon Morrish, member of the Managing Board.

Auditors
On 9 May 2019, the Annual General Meeting appointed Ernst & Young GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as the auditors of the annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements for the 2019 financial year.
The auditors responsible for the consolidated financial statements are Helge-Thomas Grathwol and Karen Somes. With the 2019 financial statements, Mr Grathwol has supported the audit for the third time. It was the fifth audit for Ms Somes after her cooling-off period of three years.
