Radisson Blu Hotel 2 Fevrier (Togo)
Located close to Place de l'Independance, the Hôtel du 2 Février is one of the Togo capital’s emblematic monuments. Towering at 102 meters, it is the tallest building in the country, and one of the tallest in Africa. It was built in the 70s and 80s with cement from Heidelberg Materials' subsidiary Cimtogo.
Between 2015 and 2016, major renovation work was carried out by the South African company ZPC. Cimtogo delivered more than 1,000 tonnes of cement for the renovation.
Now operating under the Radisson Blu label of Belgian-American hotel group Carlson Rezidor, the 30-storey hotel offers 256 rooms, including 64 apartments, 3,000 m2 of meeting rooms, and two amphitheatres. The hotel features luxurious amenities: sauna, spa, as well as restaurants with regional and international specialties.
