Tax Reporting Expert (f/m/d)

For our Group Reporting, Controlling & Consolidation Department we are seeking to recruit a Tax Reporting Expert (f/m/d).

The department's primary objectives are the provision of meaningful tax information and the administration of the Global Minimum Taxation (GloBE Tax), both in accordance with IFRS, with national and international tax laws and regulations, as well as with Heidelberg Materials' corporate policy.

You will directly report to the Head of Group Tax Reporting & GloBE Tax. The position is located in Heidelberg, Germany.

Your next challenge

  • Interpretation and application of IAS 12 as well as related external financial reporting
  • Analysis, planning and forecasting of the Group's income taxes as well as related management reporting
  • Ongoing maintenance of the Group's tax reporting process and tools
  • Share your knowledge by supporting and training local management and personnel if required
  • Contribute your ideas and creativity for the digitization of the tax reporting function
  • Support the project team in the implementation of the processes and system required for the GloBE Tax (e.g. fit-gap analysis, determination of process changes required, selection of software, preparation of process guidelines etc.)
  • Administer data collection and prepare reports for the Heidelberg Materials Group as required for the GloBE Tax

Your profile

  • University degree in economics or law
  • Initial practical experience in finance or tax function, career entrants are also welcome
  • Know-how in financial reporting processes, ERP and consolidation systems is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of IFRS financials and tax reporting regulations (IAS 12) in a multinational group
  • Qualified tax clerk or chief accountant is a plus, but not a must
  • Intercultural awareness and experience in an international environment
  • Excellent communication skills including very good English language skills
