For our Global Competence Center Cement (Global CCC) we are looking for a Project Manager (f/m/d) Carbon Capture and Storage to lead the technical development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects from the conceptual stage to start up.
Your place of work will be Heidelberg, Germany, and you will report to the Head of Decarbonization & Process Innovation.
For our Global Competence Center Cement (Global CCC) we are looking for a Project Manager (f/m/d) Carbon Capture and Storage to lead the technical development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects from the conceptual stage to start up.
Your place of work will be Heidelberg, Germany, and you will report to the Head of Decarbonization & Process Innovation.
Your next challenge
- You will manage the technical development of CCS projects in existing cement plants in Europe.
- You will develop technical feasibility studies and oversee the detailed design during FEED studies.
- You will coordinate the work of internal process experts, consulting engineers and cement plant personnel to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- You will prepare technical reports that evaluate the technoeconomic feasibility of various CCS technologies.
- You will investigate potential project execution methods to deliver the project on time and on budget.
- You will work to minimize company exposure and risk on project.
Your profile
- Accredited Engineering degree and must have 10+ years’ project experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial Gas or Chemical industries as project engineer or project manager.
- Must have at least 5 years project management experience developing or executing large CAPEX projects.
- Experience in compression, transport, and storage of industrial gases.
- Excellent know-how of multiple commercial executions structures including (EPC, EP, Multiple package).
- Proficiency in English and second language essential.
- As project team leader you bring the ability to thrive in an international team.
- You are goal-oriented having the initiative to positively affect events as well as experience in resolving problems and to be comfortable in complex project or business environments.
