Go-to-Market Manager - Digital Solutions (f/m/d)

As a Go-to-Market Manager for Digital Solutions (f/m/d) you will be part of the Partnerships & Commercialization Team and report directly to the Vice President Digital Business & Partnerships.

The team’s mission is to build up a digital business for Heidelberg Materials by developing meaningful digital partnerships, commercializing value-added products sourced from these partners and tapping into new revenue pools.

You will put particular attention to C60 (https://c60.ai/), Heidelberg Material’s fully owned SaaS venture, driving Ready-mix concrete producers to move to the next level of efficiency and profitability.
Said to be the first of its kind in delivering instant efficiency and productivity information, C60 provides RMC producers with an innovative opportunity to find savings potentials across their entire business with easy-to-read, actionable insights. C60 is the culmination of Heidelberg Material's vision to expand its offering to include digital solutions to the ready-mix concrete industry.

Your next challenge

  • You will work closely with our digital partners to drive customer-facing rollouts and business ramp for digital products from a Sales, Marketing and Change perspective by working in close alignment with country stakeholders (e.g. RMC MDs, Sales Leads, Technical Leads) and Group Functions (e.g. CCR, Area Commercial Directors)
  • You will define and further evolve effective go-to-market strategies to realize the full commercial potential of digital products for local markets; this will include adapting value propositions to local specifics and translating these into on- and offline mechanisms for building awareness, prospects, and leads towards the digital products and closing sales successfully
  • You will work with local executive sponsors, Sales and Marketing teams, local commercial teams, and operations teams for getting stakeholders and teams committed, aligned and enabled for executing on the go-to-market strategies; on this mission, you will also work closely with global product teams (product owners, UX designers and researchers, transformation team, etc.)
  • You will establish a sound set of KPIs to track rollout execution and status, develop mitigation plans as needed to keep all targets on time and in budget
  • You will be boots on the ground to help local country digital leads and Sales organizations through their transformational journey with our customers and you will help to sustain the success, i.e. bringing markets together, across geographies, countries, and areas to share progress and methods, create scale by bringing different markets together who are on the journey to productive digital solutions and services
  • You will foster innovation, encourage autonomy and collaboration, meaning and passion, learning and trust

Your profile

  • Proven track record in driving digital initiatives and engaging stakeholders for change
  • Solid understanding of the heavy building material industry and the business processes underlying related customer-facing digital solutions
  • Proven track record in navigating complex stakeholder structures in an international and demanding professional environment, experience in leading teams is a plus
  • Good grasp of the standard tools and tactics of B2B sales and / or sales-related change management (or willingness to acquire) is a plus
  • Track record in successfully driving ambitious strategic initiatives in a hands-on, can-do pragmatic manner achieving tangible impact and results
  • Strong business acumen, tying mindset change to a tangible business outcome, proven ability to employ smart tactics to achieve set targets
  • Ability to communicate authoritatively & empathetically, from senior management to construction-site worker
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, cross-functional team and environment
  • Persuasive presentation skills; ability to convince and engage multiple levels of stakeholders and teams from different cultures and time zones
  • Willingness to travel
